President
Aaron Maune
Aaron Maune has diverse professional experience that contributes to his in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry. He is a graduate of North Carolina Wesleyan College, with Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management. As a twelve year veteran of the hotel industry, Aaron’s background includes extensive employee training and attention to guest satisfaction issues.
As a North Carolina Licensed General Contractor, Aaron is well qualified to identify and properly address facility maintenance and construction related matters, including capital improvements and renovations.
Aaron is a North Carolina Licensed Real Estate Broker with extensive knowledge of sales and rental management. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the North Carolina Association of Realtors, and the New Bern Multiple Listing Service (MLS).
Vice President
Sarah Herrmann
Sarah Herrmann has a long history with the management of a variety of developments. She is a graduate of East Carolina University, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Sarah began her career as an Assistant General Manager of a full-service hotel. She worked at Fairfield Harbour from 2001 until 2008, where she started as the accounting manager and worked her way to become the Resort Manager. During her tenure as Resort Manager collection rates increased, employee satisfaction scores were high, and the resort won the “Most Improved Resort” for increases in guest satisfaction scores.
Sarah has also served as a Portfolio Community Manager in the Raleigh area, which involved working with eleven sets of Board of Directors in the management of the homeowners’ associations.
Sarah is a certified Community Manager who has received the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM), Association Management Specialist Designation, as well as her Six Sigma Green Belt training. She is proud to share her Green Belt training with all of the Resort Management Group staff.
Resort Manager
Andrea McConnell
Andrea McConnell was born and raised in New Bern, NC. She is a graduate from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, with a Bachelor of Arts in Parks and Recreation with a concentration in Commercial Recreation.
Shortly after returning to her hometown in 1997, Andrea began working with the Broad Creek Recreation Association as the Activities Manager.
She is currently a member of the North Carolina Parks and Recreation Association, chairperson for the Resort Management Group Wellness Committee, and the instructor for the Step Aerobics program at Broad Creek Recreation Association.
Acounting Manager
Staci Hartley
Staci Hartley was born in York, PA and moved to the New Bern area as a teenager. Staci has been working at the Resort at Fairfield Harbour since May of 2001. Her career at the Resort began in the maintenance department handling the purchasing and control of the inventory as well as many other administrative duties. Staci joined the property management team in 2008 where she now serves as the Office Manager overseeing the accounting department as well as assisting the Board of Directors to navigate the governance for their Associations.
Staci has achieved the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and Association Management Specialist (AMS) designations as well as her Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
